Dog Grooming
At The Paw Loft Pet Spa your stylist will greet you and your pooch for a consultation prior to every appointment just as your stylist would at your own salon. Your dog will not be kennelled during their time with us except if they require kennel drying.
We pride ourselves on quality grooming services given with love, patience and kindness. Although we are very capable of providing a very short clip for matted coats, we are not a “shave shop” and pride ourselves on quality scissor haircuts for that very professional styled finish. For “grooming only” clients, appointments are started within 15 minutes of your dog’s arrival.
We request that clients pick up their dogs no later than 15 minutes after their expected appointment end time. In the event that you are unable to pick your dog up promptly, you are welcome to take advantage of dyacre services provided onsite by Bark N Lounge. Grooming Services
Our bath and tidy service includes:
- Relaxing warm water bath with deep cleansing shampoo suited for your dogs skin and/or coat type
- Blow dry
- Brush out
- De-matting (15 minute max
- Clean out feet pads
- Nail trim
- Ear cleanse
- Tidy “sanitary areas”
- Tidy up feet, tail
- Clean up in front of the eyes and tidy up the brow/bangs
- Bandana, necktie or barrette – because every pooch needs cool digz too!!!
Our full groom service includes:
- all of the above
- Full hair cut and style with scissor finishing
We provide shampoo suited to your dog’s skin type. We do not charge additional fees for medicated, skin or coat specific shampoo treatments.

- Medium dog bath and tidy up – $45+
- Large dog bath and tidy up – $65+
- Very large breed bath and tidy up – $80+
- Small dog full groom – $50+
- Medium dog full groom – $65+
- Large dog full groom – $80+
- Poodle feet, face, tail and topknot – $15.00
- Hand stripping services – $65+
- Nail trim – $10+
- Ear cleanse – $10+
- Nail trim and ear cleanse – $15+
Pricing will vary with the condition of your dogs coat, their cooperation and any behavioural challenges.
A Note about anal gland expression – we have been advised by our veterinarian to avoid expressing anal glands.
A veterinarian is best suited to express anal glands and will usually do so for a low fee. A veterinarian is better trained to deal with any issues such as impacted glands, infected glands or if any complications should arise while having them expressed a vet is better equipped and educated to handle this.
We will notify you if we think they may need veterinary attention. One indicator may be a foul fishy-like odour coming from your dog. This may indicate that their glands need expressing. Your dog scooting his bum across the floor does not necessarily mean they need their anal glands expressed. Just as you and I – they get itchy bums too!
